Celebrating 42 years of Service to the Community
Our club was proudly sponsored by the Lions Club of Nilgiris on May 25, 1983, during the tenure of the late Lion M. Thangavelu Pillai as Governor of the undivided district. The esteemed PMJF Lion M. Bhojarajan was appointed as the Charter President and has since played a pivotal role in shaping the club’s growth and progress. Since its inception, the club has steadily grown and has successfully celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
We are privileged to have among us three dedicated Charter Members who continue to serve as pillars of strength and guidance: PMJF Lion M. Bhojarajan, Lion H. Ramachandran, and MJF Lion T.N. Raju.
To date, the club has been honoured with 13 Melvin Jones Fellows (MJFs) and one Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow (PMJF), reflecting our continued commitment to service and excellence.
Our club is led by dedicated individuals committed to service and community development.
